Story Submission Guidelines for EH! – Canadians Living in the USA
EH! is looking for true, personal stories from Canadians who have lived, worked, studied, or experienced life in the USA. Share your heartfelt, humorous, inspiring, or eye-opening moments that reflect the unique perspective of being Canadian across the border.
We are seeking stories that:
- Celebrate personal experiences: Whether it’s a big life change, an unforgettable moment, or a quiet reflection, your story should be true, personal, and meaningful.
- Inspire or connect: Stories should evoke emotions—make us laugh, cry, or feel inspired.
- Showcase the Canadian spirit: Highlight the cultural nuances, values, and connections that make your experience uniquely Canadian in an American setting.
How to Submit
- Use the form below to upload your story.
- Include your full name, contact information, and a brief note about your connection to Canada and the USA.
- Stories may be lightly edited for clarity, grammar, and style.
Compensation and Rights
By submitting, you grant EH! the right to publish your story in print, digital, and other media formats, including promotional and social media uses. You retain the copyright to your story, but EH! reserves the right to edit, adapt, and publish it as needed. Submissions are unpaid.
Deadline
All stories must be submitted by April 2, 2025.

Important Guidelines
- Word Count: Stories should be between 800 and 1,200 words.
- Tone: Keep it engaging, heartfelt, and authentic.
- Perspective: Write in the first person (“I”), sharing your personal journey.
- Originality: Submissions must be original and unpublished.
- Family-Friendly: Content should be appropriate for a broad audience.
